Estimator / Spares Co-ordinator
Mechatherm require a dedicated Estimator/Spares coordinator to work in the company Projects & Sales team and existing spares coordinator.
The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following general day to day duties:-
- Coordinate all spares enquiries for new projects, existing customers and ongoing contracts.
- Develop existing customer relations to improve spares sales.
- To design and develop spares pricing structure and database.
- To assist in producing spares lists and new project estimates.
- Office based with occasional travel required home and abroad.
Applicants should ideally have the following skills and qualifications: -
- Qualified to HNC.
- Fully versed in Microsoft Office programs (MS Excel in particular).
- General understanding of MS Project.

Apprentice - Projects & Sales
Mechatherm are on the lookout for an ambitious young candidate to work as an apprentice in the company Projects & Sales team. The candidate should be either just leaving secondary school or in the opening stages of their college education in engineering.
The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following general day to day duties:-
- Produce working price estimates.
- Produce technical specifications.
- Produce price tender documents.
- Produce proposal drawings using AutoCAD 2D design software.
- Produce 3D models using AutoDesk Inventor.
- Office based will occasional travel required home and abroad.
Training will be given where necessary as part of the apprenticeship.
Applicants should ideally have the following skills and qualifications: -
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint).
- Familiar with AutoCAD.
- Typically C grade student or higher (GCSE's).
Mechatherm will offer the successful candidate the necessary funding to complete their engineering education on a 'part time' basis up to a minimum of HNC (Higher National Certificate) level.

Apprentice - Design engineer
Mechatherm are on the lookout for an ambitious young candidate to work as an apprentice in the company Engineering/Drawing Office. The candidate should be either just leaving secondary school or in the opening stages of their college education in engineering.
The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following general day to day duties:-
- Produce 3D models using AutoDesk Inventor.
- Produce manufacturing drawings using AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D design software
- Produce parts lists to accompany detail drawings
- Documentation control
Training will be given where necessary as part of the apprenticeship
Applicants should ideally have the following skills and qualifications: -
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint).
- Familiar with AutoDesk software including Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Typically C grade student or higher (GCSE's).

Site Engineer
Mechatherm require dedicated Site engineers to work on our contracts in the UK and abroad.
The successful applicant(s) will be expected to perform the following duties:-
- Awareness of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation functions.
- Carrying out and recording commissioning tests.
- Liase with both our customers and contractors.
- Act as an installation engineer when required (this will involve supervising Mechatherm / Sub-contract / client's labour).
- PLC/HMI software design / electrical experience.
- Significant amounts of travel are to be expected within the UK and abroad that may involve long periods away from home. 8 - 12 weeks being the normal duration.
Applicants should ideally have the following skills and qualifications:-
- Qualified to HNC or Bachelors degree level.
- Fully versed in Microsoft Office programs.
- Familiar with AutoCAD design software.
- PLC/HMI Software programming experience with Allen Bradley/Siemens systems.
